Would it be acceptable for folks to create a wiki page for their user accounts on the site?

People could put make that wikipage their "Home Page URL" on their profile.

Things the might be useful off the top of my head:

Description of our likes/dislikes
Link to our Game Index user page
Link to our photo in the "Post Your Pictures" thread
Links to favorite forum threads/posts

Well, each user already has a User:Username page automatically. It's assumed people would put basic information about who they are there.

So I'd say... OK, but don't go overboard, and just the one page on our Wiki (of course, you can link elsewhere).

Not an "official policy" per se... we don't really have any official policies except for "Please kill any spammers KTHX". :) --Lord Knockwood

No problem!

But I'm a total wikinoob.
How do I access "User:Valandil"?
Do I just type that string in the wiki search box?

Oh yeah I guess I do, I just tried it with "User:ShannonA".
