Now that the d20 things seems to have hit its stride and a variety of games have come out for it, I was wondering what people thought were the most notable (good and bad) rules additions or alterations made to it. I certainly haven't followed its progression myself, but I am actually interested in what some people might have done with it.

So what are people's favorite and least favorite additions?

This is blatant self-promotion, but I did a bunch of combat modifications that can be found on my website:

www.gggames.net

click on "resources" then "colorful combat in the d20 system"

Generally, the d20 additions aren't entertaining enough to bother including - there's some wacky, wacky stuff around the edges and fringes of the thing, and fans ( ie some of the guys I game with ) are always turning up and going "I want this feat that gives me +50 damage" or something else crazy that makes me think of AD&D.

The d20 system is really strong, but I think there would be more profit to gamers in Game World books, with good, evocatic backgrounds than we'll ever get out of rules additions etcetera.

That said, I still think that the best rule change is to give only 1 hit point plus Con bonus at each level increase. ( It does mean you have to bring down the Monsters HP too, and decrease Spell damage ). This is one of my own inventions, not in any of the rules additions. Players hate it. :)
