And a free browser based one at that. Weird.

I wonder how it will generate income. Adds? Micro-transactions?

Looks intriguing anyhow.

I'm guessing ad-based revenue, since it's a browser game.

The real-time aspect (1 game day = 1 calendar day) sounds very cool. So, a medium 3-4 player game should take 3-4 weeks.

From my understanding, it's going to be alot more than 3-4 players. I'm intrigued by the idea of putting a HoMM game online with a web interface and allowing a huge world to be fought/allied over. Mind, I'd probably be pretty pathetic at it, but I might still see how well I can handle things.

As for revenue, it's probably going to be ad-supported, most of the web-based MMOs are, from my understanding.

Travian (web-browser MMO game) is funded by players buying in-game advantages for real money. It's surprisingly lucrative.

I wish to make two points. First, Heroes games tend to be fun, although I'm not an online gamer. Second, this is a Might & Magic Massively Multiplayer game: a MMMMOG. That seemed abbreviatedly ridiculous enough to justify a post all by itself.
