I'd add the Hero Games announcements of 6th Ed Hero and Champions (in 2009) to your On the Horizon section, and maybe a mention of Cryptic Studios acquiring the IP to Champions for an MMORPG and licensing print RPG rights back to Hero Games. We talked about it quite a bit on OgreCave.com, and we'll have more in an upcoming podcast.
