Through all these years I never knew that you'd illustrated for these guys, Brad. Nice one, I tip my hat to you :)

Yup, I am officially old... lol. I actually got my start with a company called Stellar Games all the way back in like 87, a horribly inept cover for a sci-fi RPG called Expendables. Wow... that is a LONG time ago.... lol
Thanks for the compliment; maybe I should not be so modest about my acomplishments!

Agreed, shout it from the rooftops!

You're not that old.. 20years is nuffink to us 'mature' lot ;)

Err, Scott, you misread that.. my first real paid published work was almost twenty years ago..not counting fanzine/APA/small press stuff for two-three years before that. I am heading into the dotage years of my mid forties.
Now go find me some geritol and comissions.
Oh, ironically, i never got to do any dragons for Dragon or Dungeon.... Larry and Chris liked to hand me off the uber-creepy subjects like Masque of the Red Death stuff, Were-Rats, Were-Crocodiles, Mind Flayers, and the occasional.. uhh.. Flail Snail.
But it ended up being a creepy looking Flail Snail, so my reputation as their go-to guy for "ick" was not sullied.
Oh, those were the days...

.
And you probably work for a lot less than Ron Spencer (Real big "ick" factor on that guy).

Ron's art has a wonderfully high ick factor, I agree.
And not to dis Ron*, but his stuff is more exaggarated than mine (which works wonderfully !)....
My personal obsession as an artist was and is making mine as realistic as possible; it is always fun to go to the library and have to ask at the information desk if they have any books with photographs of Bog Mummies, bats, or rats in them...
Persoanlly, I feel they look even ickier for being so grounded in almost-photographic reality.... but that is just me!
Brad
*I loved his stuff in Deadlands, Fading Suns, and Werewolf!

No, I gotcha, I just obviously wasn't clear in my response.. hell there's no way you and I could be in our twenties :)
Just out of curiosity.. when you're talking about yours n Ron's work, did you mean yours is almost photo realistic? Because I have to be honest, and don't take this as a slap, but I don't think either of yours is photo realistic... along the same lines that my work definately isn't either.

Okay, I *have* to see a creepy picture of a flail snail. I would not have imagined such a thing were possible. Do you still have a copy?

As a small publisher who's worked with, and who is currently working with, Bradley I thoroughly recommend his services to any other publisher. His work is good, to specs, and on time. Everything I want out of illustration.
A++++++ will buy again... :D

I just finished this job designing some flags for a new game company, and the publisher was kind enough to both give me permission to post and to send me this blurb:
Landston
This is a completely original fantasy setting, created by Alex Helm and Jenny Andersson since late 2006. It's been designed very much for political and intrigue style games, so the focus of the setting is on the interactions between warring nations, and all the politics, subterfuge and cheating that might go on between them!
It is intended that player characters have some form of power within their nations, either political or military etc, and hence are capable of making significant changes to the political climate in the world.
The system we are using is Mongoose Runequest, however the main focus is on roleplaying and interaction. The setting has been acclaimed at various UK conventions, and will premiere in the US at Gen Con Indy 2008. A setting book is in the works for publication sometime in 2008.
