Wow. I mean the Sisters of Battle can really kick my ass like no one else in the game ( I haven't gotten to the Dark Eldar yet). They show up in just frikkin' overwhelming numbers, and I don't have the boyz to stop 'em.
Suggestions?
What army are you playing?
My experience facing off against the sisters is that they're amazingly good at morale damage, less so on actual physical damage. If you have enough tricks to keep your morale in the black (or I guess blue in this case) they're not that bad to take on. The second thing is that they're excellent vehicle killers. I've had good results emphasizing much more infantry front armies with indirect (artillery or longer range) vehicles than to do things like the IG chimera front or tons of dreds or whatever.
Hope that helps.

I'm making a good note of that then, as I've decided to keep the Sisters for last (I've only got two opponents left). The other army I'm currently facing however, is the Imperial Guard, and the scenario for their main base is driving me nuts.
I'm playing as Necron, btw.

Sisters of Battle really are one of the toughest opponents in Dawn of War. They don't seem to be especially gifted in Close Combat, so I'd suggest using your melee specialists (Flayed Ones, Immortals, most Ork units) to do the majority of your damage. Bring enough melee units to tie up as many of their shooting squads as you can, and keep an eye out for Celestians (they'll be the ones scything blue lances through your vehicles). They reduce vehicle units to slag in seconds, so you'll want to tie them down so they're Melta weapons stay silent.
Ordnance Weapons (Basilisk, Whirlwind, etc) might also be particularly effective against them if you can keep them firing from out of harm's way.

This is supposed to be based on the tabletop army, right?

In DoW, a 5 woman 2xMelta/2xMultimelta infantry squad is hell on wheels vs vehicles, but in TT I expect that it would be a smear of blood. Also, from my limited experience playing SoB in campaign mode, you don't really get anything resembling a reliable CC unit until tier 3.

Yeah, I figured there was a reason that Seraphim defaulted to shooty stance.
To the OP: My initial impulse is to say that you should use the same basic strategies you would use vs Chaos. The unit mix seems about the same through mid/late tier 2 (whenever preds start coming into play).

Think about it this way, though. If that 5 Sister Squad w/ 2 Multi-Meltas and 2 Melta Guns gets within firing range of a vehicle in the tabletop game, it's slag. Sweet, sweet slag.
On another note, what role do the Seraphim actually play in Soulstorm? They're not a melee unit so they don't work when it comes to silencing heavy weapon squads, but they don't seem to excel at shooting (at least as far as I can tell). Are they just there to capture hard to reach points?

I've found a strategy that works reasonably well defensively, but I have yet to assault any of SOB-held locations yet.
Build many many units of shoota boys, and don't reinforce them. This leaves me with a high percentage of boyz with Big Shootas, and that seems to do a good job on the Sistahs.

Not counting that Angelic Visage ability (which does help your other units a lot), they suffer no loss in shooting accuracy while moving as I understand it, which means if you're good at micro you could harass the enemy with them almost indefinitely. I think they have krak grenades too, which are a lot of damage to buildings, so you can hop them in, bomb, then hop back out.

So they're a dancy unit, got it. That explains why I haven't had much success with them, the extent of my micromanagement usually comes from trying to put the strongest aspects of my force on the weaknesses of my opponent, locking down shooty squads in assault so I can shoot them at my leisure, screening my own shooty squads, etc.

Well, yeah, but they have a lot better of a chance at getting to the vehicle in DoW. On the table, they're just a walking bullet magnet.
