(July 15, 2008; Signal Mountain, TN) - Sean Patrick Fannon and Talisman Studios offer the Modular Adventure Creation System, designed for Shaintar: Immortal Legends, for free use by fans and other publishers.
“It’s something that’s come up a number of times since Shaintar came out,” says Sean Patrick Fannon, creator and Lead Developer of the Shaintar: Immortal Legends property. “I’ve been honored by how many fans and fellow developers have indicated a real admiration of the system, and how many of them would like to incorporate it into their own efforts. Well, now they can.”
The terms of use are fairly simple. Prospective publishers who wish to use M.A.C.S. either as-is or with genre-appropriate modifications must simply ask permission (providing information about their project and the name of their publishing operation), and they must incorporate the following statement in their credits page:

Anyone wishing to use the Modular Adventure Creation System in their projects should contact Sean at SPF@talisman-studios.com. A Rich Text Format file containing the original content that went into Shaintar: Immortal Legends can be provided at the time permission is granted.
