Never finished a setting, but then, that's not my point. I enjoy creating, and since I don't have the time to write a novel, it seems this is the best I can do.
For my current setting (currently dubbed the norwegian equialent of "the plainlands"), I have so far a map, notes on mythology, and find myself getting immersed in the creation of ConLangs. Quite far, you would say. Wonder if it will ever be done :)
Never done anything real for an RPG. Takes too much time to worry about players breaking it.
