please note: this is not my sale but something I just saw today on an eBay browse and think this board should know about. some good issues of WD from the 1980s and much classic Chaosium material for sale here (http://shop.ebay.co.uk/merchant/second-guess), as well as the WFRP Doomstones campaign and other assorted. ends on Saturday 30th May.

My god! Is that Orient Express really on £180 with a couple of days to go or did I just fail a SAN roll? I know it goes well but not that well. Looks like a respectable bidder though.

And one just ended a few days ago at £300. Either there's been a bit of an upwards swing in the prices, or there are a couple of people who just really need to have one and they need to have it now.

Ah - I did a quick search but missed that one. I sold a copy a year or so ago and it went for 60-something and I've seen them nudge £100 but had no idea they'd shot up that much. It's a good adventure but it's not that good!

I bought mine at a con auction for about £27 and sold it for - I don't recall - prices rather depressed by the fact that that copy had no box/sleeve and was therefore missing the gorgeous cover art. after a read-through, I concluded that the prices you see on eBay are very, very inflated.

the expanded German edition is lovely though, and I intend to collect all four books.
