Shannon Appelcline's Summary:
The original release of the Spinward Marches setting is a bit sparse for the modern world, but still contains neat layout in a nice, tight package. Nonetheless, it's mostly a curiosity for the modern GM.

The ones that really jumped out at me were the description of the Zhodani Consulate as being 40 parsecs in diameter (where it's actually a rectangle about 128 parsecs by 100 parsecs, which is to say about 2.5x bigger than this early supplement claims)
Hang on here.
Generously assuming a rectangle (rather than a circle) of 40 by 40 squares, the latter Consulate is eight times bigger, not 2.5. That is, 128x100 is exactly 8 times bigger than 40x40. (Perhaps you meant a radius of 40 parsecs? 128x100 is twice the size of 80x80.)
If we then were to include the third dimension...

Not that the Traveller universe has a third dimension.
In any case, is a lot bigger. The original description really struck me as an interstellar state that wasn't that important compared to the Third Imperium.
