Neal Dalton's Summary:

The start of a new vampire trilogy by the man that brought you Blade II, Hellboy, and Pan's Labrynith. If you are looking for a good, fast paced vampire book where they are definitely the baddies, this may be for you.

While I didn't think to put it in the review, I think I'll explain my ratings.

Style 3: It's a fiction book. While the cover is alright, its not like I'm looking at the layout or art in an RPG book. Its just your average fiction book on the outside.

Substance 4: Its not A Game of Thrones but it is a damn good read. There feels like there is a lot more left to be revealed and that a lot has been thought out ahead of time.

Wait. So they *don't* sparkle?

What kind of second-rate vampire book is this?

:)
