I wrote the blizzard account people, and they were able to get me back my account.

However, all my characters had been erased (surprise!) and they left me with a couple of low-level PVP characters.

But, I'll be intermittently back!

I assume your account got hacked? If so then I sympethize, mine was hacked about a month ago with the same result. Talk to a GM in game and they should get your toons and all the gear back to you in a couple days.

And yes, get an authenticator. I use the iPhone App and it works like a charm (and it's free).

Yes, talk to a GM in game to get your gear back. But I've never heard of them fixing it that quick... I've seen it take weeks usually...
