The links to RPG Main, Directory, Reviews etc.
point to URLs at Forum.rpg.net/
instead of www.rpg.net/
-> 404 all over the floor

Hi,
I can't replicate this. I did some edits on other stuff, perhaps accidentally fixing it in the process.
If anyone notes this, please let me know the relevant URL, otherwise I'll guess it's okay now.
Thanks!

Well. Let's assume I am at <http://forum.rpg.net>
When (in the footer) I hover over the line
<u>RPGnet (the Inside Scoop on Gaming!)</u>
I get a "<i>shortcut to www.rpg.net</i>" message in the status bar.
Clicking here I get directed to http://www.rpg.net . Yeah!
When I hover over the line <u>RPGnet Home | Directory | Reference | News & Reviews | Gallery | RPGnet Forum </u>
I get messages like <i>"shortcut to index.html", "shortcut to directory.html"</i> etc. in the Status Bar.
Clicking on these the browser tries to read at http://forum.rpg.net/reviews.html (instead of http://www.rpg.net/news+reviews/reviews.html) and I get the message:

Please try the following:
If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.
- Open the forum.rpg.net home page, and then look for links to the information you want.
- Click the Back button to try another link.
- Click Search to look for information on the Internet.

Hello,
Thanks! Wow, it was a bizarre "find a reference in a database that references local URLs and change them to global because of http redirects that were done in a way I had tentatively suggested was probably not the best", so I feel vindicated.
Much obliged for your copious debugging help.
