I hate to have to post this publicly, but I'm not getting any private response, so I have no way of knowing if my problem is even known...

Adamant's website is hosted by RPGnet. So is my email. (gms@adamant.rpg.net)

Problem is, since this morning, I have not been able to retrieve email from that account, apparently due to the problems that have been plaguing RPGnet.

I have sent email (from my old synistercreative account, which I shouldn't even be using) to Dan, but, as usual, no response from him.

I am engaged in several critical freelance jobs which require CONSTANT contact with my clients via email. I quite literally cannot afford to be unable to connect to my email address.

I would appreciate a response to this issue. I will be checking this thread...or you can call me at (973)985-4308.

Well, well.

Unanswered emails....nothing done.

Publicly bitch-fit on the Trouble Tickets forum.....problem solved within the hour.

Hmm.

Well, if you're locked out of your e-mail, they might be, too.

As a direct client don't you have a phone number you can use for this sort of thing?

Hi,

Actually, I'm not sure if Skotos gave you a phone number but it is 510-647-2760 (with a receptionist). Useful for anyone in a client/service relationship, hence my posting it here.

I know Dan was working on the project quickly so it only appeared to be fixed after the Trouble Tickets post due to coincidence (though posting here was a good idea, more communications being useful). It took him a few hours to figure things out.

Cheers,
Sandy

p.s. one offshot of the email crises was that my 'sandy@rpg.net' email rerouted to the Skotos company president (Christopher Allen, a nice guy and techie at heart, so it's not a big deal for me). Which reinforces my principle that I never email anything that would cause me distress if it were, say, published on Usenet. A neat side-effect, after he saw all the spam I got he suggested we put in optional spam filters :)
