View Full Version : Does anyone have a large collection of Star Wars WEG they want to sell or trade off?

Hi, what can I say, I'm a glutton! Does anyone have a shelf full of WEG Star Wars d6 stuff that they want to trade off or sell cheap? I don't want to bother picking up loose books here and there, I rather just get a big lot of adventures and sourcebooks to keep me entertained for a while.

PM me if your interested, and we'll talk about it there.

I have lots of stuff I can trade, and I'm not above considering cash, if the price is right (well, right for me :))

Thanks

I usually check on ebay, a day or two ago there was an entire collection of WEG plus a bunch of d20 stuff for a reasonable-enough-if-I-had-won-the-lottery amount. (I believe starting bid was $1500)

Honestly, from the list and the pictures it was a great deal, I just don't have that kind of cash to spend on RPG's.

I have a couple items. You can check my list on the boards here if you want.

It's still there, cash option $2000! That's about what I spend on a year on RPGs, If I spent that much at one pop on RPG stuff I would probably feel sick (and giddy at the same time!)

That's too much money. I have almost all of those books (except the d20 stuff - and I'm not selling, BTW), and I sure as heck didn't pay $1500 for them.

Most the WEG stuff goes for $3-4 each. There are some exceptions, most notably the Bounty Hunters book, the Tramp Freighter's Guide, and the Tales of the Jedi Companion.

Speaking of which, my Tales of the Jedi Companion (near mint) is still available if anyone is interested in it.

Looking at the shelf, I do have 2 copies of the 2nd edition rulebook, the Dark Vader Mask cover.

I could part with one of them.

Right now that's one of the few books I have :) Thanks anyway. I'm actually off work Monday, so I'm going to make a tour of all the Game and book stores within an hour and a half, and see what I can drum up for used prices (I've got about $100 to burn on RPG crap this paycheck).

One of the game stores actually still has a HUGE selection of WEG Star Wars stuff, but they still sell it at full price. While I can't blame them, something just seems wrong about paying full price for an oop item that isn't "rare".

Hey, if its at all possible, see if they can get you a list. I know a lot of stores are starting to use Inventory Databases, if they can whip you up a quick list, that would be great. There are still some books I'm looking for myself.

If they have a website, or an email address, that would be cool too.

I doubt if they are that "high-tek". The store is about an hour and a half away, so I only go there every other month or so, but PM me a list of what you are looking for, and I will pick it up if I see it (providing I don't want it for myself :)). I can look at used stores also.

I assume you will be willing to pay me back plus shipping? If it's from the store that sells them new, it will be cover price. Most used stores (I frequent) sell for half price. I'll give it to you for what I pay (always willing to help out fellow gamers! good karma).

Star Wars, 2nd ed. WEG d6 rule book.

Star Wars Sourcebook, WEG 1st printing. Well read but in good shape.

Make an offer if you like.

Thanks to everyone who took a look. I was going to let this one slide off the front page, but since Papyrus poped it back to the top....

I aquired a decent lot (not from here), and did a lot of reading. While d6 is an excellent system, I was reminded why I preffer my own Star Frontiers conversion.

In my usual fickle style, I'm already selling off the Star Wars lot (for a fraction of what I paid, a pretty good deal actually) on my current "my girlfriend moved in" thread here on the sales/auctions forum.

Thanks.
