RPGnet is an independent web site about tabletop roleplaying games. We're not centered on any specific game or game-system here, so you'll find discussion of lots of different roleplaying games, and often the more esoteric ones.
RPGnet also includes discussions of other topics of interest to roleplayers, including computer games, miniatures, board games, comic books, movies, and television.

RPGnet has a number of major sections.
The Front Page. The RPGnet home, where we list all of our new items every day.
Forums. The most popular section of RPGnet. A free-for-all place for discussing roleplaying and much more.
The Gaming Index. A listing of thousands of different roleplaying products, complete with user ratings and links to reviews.
Columns. A collection of monthly articles on all aspects of roleplaying, from gamemastering and playing to running a store.
Reviews. Discussions of roleplaying games on Monday & Friday and everything else on Wednesday.
Wiki. An open venue where you can write game systems, backgrounds, and more.
Press. Original news posted to the site, plus a collection of the best RSS feeds about gaming.
Store. An online RPG store where purchases help support RPGnet.
Who Runs RPGnet?
RPGnet is owned by Skotos Tech Inc., an online company that runs several entertainment related sites.
Skotos does the technical support for RPGnet, maintains the machine, releases new systems, and otherwise keeps track of the big picture. Shannon Appelcline does much of the new programming work, Erwin Harte helps keep the machine running, and Christopher Allen is the big boss.
Much of the day-to-day doings of RPGnet are run by a group of dedicated and well-esteemed volunteers.
What Other Sites Does Skotos Run?
Skotos currently runs three different sites:
Skotos Tech is our original site. It is a subscription-based online gaming community where you can play Castle Marrach, Lovecraft Country, The Eternal City, and several other online roleplaying games, as well as various online board games.
RPGnet is a free community site centered on tabletop roleplaying games from Dungeons & Dragons to Exalted, from Traveller to Fading Suns. It contains forums, reviews, columns, a gaming index, press releases, and more. It's the largest independent RPG site on the net.
Xenagia is a free community site centered on fantasy, science fiction, and horror, currently with a focus on books, TV shows, and movies. Besides a forum it also features an index of genre books. We expect to expand it to include many of the features of RPGnet as Xenagia grows.
