Block Wars

Does anyone remember this? It was one of the great old GW games, with a board depicting two Mega-City Blocks, and you had a whole bunch of little tokens for the various weirdos, and it was fantastic. The joy of ordering your regiment of Fatties forward to crush the opposition ... any idea where I can find a copy? And was it as good as I remember, or was I just being 11?

It's actually called Block Mania, and yup, I own it. (not for sale, sorry)

There's also an expansion called Mega Mania, which I also own. Increases the number of possible players to four.

It's one of those games I can't get people to play because the rules are a little more involved than most of the rulesets released in the modern age.

Those older GW games had extraordinarily poor rules organization. :( But they are a blast to play once you get the rules down pat.

I managed to buy both Block Mania and Mega Mania at a convention. I can only suggest that you try going along to conventions with trade halls, as they seem to have a lot of old out-of-print games.
