I didn't feel, it lacks. If it was about a small book it would be ok but you are reviewing a 632p book. That makes it one of bigger rpg books in the market, if not the biggest. In this case it is not a lack of specifics, it's a lack of a simple overview of the book's content.

The review does not convey that. You didn't mention what sci-elements are covered, for instance. There may be helpful explanations, but what do they explain? I can't figure it from the review.

Unfortunately it doesn't comppel me to consider it either. And I completely fail to see how such a massive game book can work as an "introductory" product. Introductory products are usually simplifications, percolations, short. They introduce and then are complemented by more developped books that provide the specifics. 632 pages? That's not an introduction.
