Just a quick note about the "expensive" art. 90% of the art in the Monsternomicon (and all of the art in the other PP releases to date) is done by two guys -- Matt Wilson and Brian Snoddy. In fact, Brian inked every image in the Monsternomicon and also painted the cover image. They are owners of PP and thus do not actually pay cash for the art. This strategy has helped them focus their limited cash resources elsewhere and create high-quality products on a very low budget.

Considering that PP is a second-job gig for these guys, they're not just artists, they're art machines.
