Sure.

Then again, I have run a straight 3rd edition D&D game in a Mythos adventure, adapting the Innsmouth megamodule over to the world of Dragonlance. (No Coast Guard. Tinker Gnomes. No Marines. Knights of Solamnia.) It actually worked pretty well as a more Resident Evil ish Survival Horror type of campaign.

It wasn't CoC pefect horror, but it WAS a memorable and fun adventure.

Note I didn't use the CoC BRP or D20 rules, just 3rd ed D&D, and some eyeballed conversions from the old 1st ed Dieties & Demigods book.

Coral Spears made a 4th level Dwarf Fighter a SAAAD PANDA....

And a Godzilla toy made a great Father Dagon stand in.. hehe...
