This comes up every time I discuss Rifts and Dragons and Gods comes up, so I guess I'll have to respond like I always do.

According to a press release I got while at a game store I worked at in 1996 there was to have been a Rifts: Dragons and Gods sourcebook that year. It specifically said this book would be for the Rifts line, not Palladium Fantasy or any other game line. It was mentioned again in the following two announcement sheets we got, then all mention of it was dropped by Palladium for the longest time. I believe there was some sort of announcement to the general public about the book at some point, as up until late 1997 I still had Rifts fans coming into (at that point) both game stores I worked out, asking if Rifts: Dragons and Gods was out yet.

So there may be a Dragons & Gods sourcebook for Palladium Fantasy (neither store I worked out carried that line), but whenever I refer to a never materialized Dragons & Gods sourcebook I'm referring to the one that I read about in 1996 that was to be Rifts specific which never appeared.
