I like to see a bit more "Wow!".

I'm quite happy for reviewers to be biased. If I know what kinds of games they like, from several reviews, and their other posts, then I can get a really good idea of which game I'd like to play. From your review I just can't tell.

I'm with Steve. Heck, I wouldn't mind being excited about one as long as you explained what excited you. Your excellent but dispassionate work left me wondering, "If I was to be buying one, would this have helped me make up my mind?"

Contrast this to, say, the pink section of the SF Chronicle I used to read. I knew what the different critics liked. By reading past my understanding of their biases relative to my own, I could make good decisions about which movies I wanted to see.
