I read your review and all the others and thought they already did the difficult job of detailing the rules and the d20 mechanics. I didn't want to beat a dead horse, and I wanted to talk mainly about the atmospheric changes. Glad you (and others) appreciated it.

Yes, Tynes is the man. I've followed his work for some years now and recommend almost any of the game books he's written. After years of playing the original CoC, material like "The Golden Dawn" and "Delta Green" really changed the way I looked at the game. The new game continues that trend.
