We played a sample Midnight adventure at a convention. Whew! Was that tough!
I'm not sure if I'm really fond of the spell system. I like it, but it takes some getting used to. VERY LOW POWERED.

Also, difficult to actually obtain weapons. It's not a given that a warrior will have decent armor or weapons.

You may only get to cast 2-3 spells for a low level character. There are some good roleplaying ideas here, but it's a very grim setting. It makes Ravenloft look absolutely cheery!

So if you want a seriously low powered, very dangerous, gritty and full of gloom and doom game, this is it. The awesome roleplaying potential is incredible.

If you feel that rolling up a new character every now and again is too much or the obvious 'everything is against us' idea is too much...stay away.

Not too bad of a review, use spellchecker though.
