I already own too many D$D world settings. Also I don't have too much confidence in FFG for various reasons (one being that they seem to jump too many times from one idea to the next and therby not maintain support for their previous products over the long run.)

I'm not sure if I or my friends would enjoy a low magic world setting. They were hesitant to play Rokugan. One reason besides the obvious was that obtaining magic items were difficult in this world but I won them over when I told them about Rokugan's unique way of handling magic and the various combat styles of the various clans (that of spontaneous magic...those of you who own L5R will understand).

Anyway, I think a low magic world would be boring to play in unless it had something else that made up for the near lack of magic. From the review, I did not get anything that made up for this low level of magic so I think I will pass...
