Converted from Phorums BB System

Everyone seeks something different from a game. A player I used to run in a game whom I respect called the concept "cheesy" when he first saw it. My current group (of 5+ years) were also slow to sell on the concept because they are having a great time in our GURPS/RIFTS conversion game. However after reading the review of this game setting in a magazine I was so excited about it that I was able to bring them around through sheer enthusiasm.

Since then I've purchased the book and am now in my second reading preparing for a campagin. I wholeheartly agree with the reviewer when he describes this game is well written. Though it does plaugerize ideas from Tolkeen, it does so with a twist of lemon that makes it refreshing rather than stale. I have yet to play my first session (or even prep my first scenario) however I find myself very much looking forward to running the game, and would recommed the game to anyone who loves RPGs.
