How come, that Harnmaster gets compared to Rolemaster all the time? It's not only you, Tom, but it started in a german RPG newsletter way back with the 1st edition of HM. Is it the "...master" part? Is it because both seem to aim for the "adult" roleplayer (whatever this is)? Or ist it because both use d100? For me, HM is on the more "realistic" and RM more on the "heroic fantasy" side. Both have a quite different audience.
