Well, I stand corrected. (By both John Kim and Lars) Still, you two do seem to be in the minority in my opinion in terms of disliking the game. However, I am impressed that the two of you at least played the game. I've seen a large number of the game's detractors on RPG.net who never even gave it a try.

To be fair, if you don't like a game system, chances are that you aren't going to play it -- certainly not for a continued campaign. Playing in an RPG campaign is takes a lot more time and effort than listening to a CD or watching a movie, and reviewers here aren't getting paid. To have an informed opinion, I would expect someone to read it thoroughly, make a character or two, and perhaps try a sample combat. But the more investment you require, the more you are biasing towards people who like the system -- since those who don't like it quite naturally will not want to pour time and creativity into a system they don't like.
