I havent looked at earthdawn in a long time. the game was alot of fun. one of the reasons I remember for it being fun though was its over the top magic, seeing mages float around in the first lotus position rather than walking was just the way of the game, there was a vast array of different people. peasants hovelled in fear of the horrors, with not even the slightest hint of a magical item, but the merchant class had magical weapons, clothing jewelry, etc. and the nobles were decadence incarnate, with magic out the wazoo... that may have just been how my storyteller ran it though.
