I'm actually not totally comfortable with that, Geoff, but I suspect that's just my authorial bias showing.

I tend to see the White Wolf archetypes as a single word that sums up your personality as a whole, and the personality feats in DaD as a single aspect of a character's overall personality. I always feel vaguely guilty acting outside of my character's nature in a Storyteller game, while it's pretty easy for me to visualize a DaD-influenced character engaging in behavior outside or even contradictory to his personality feat. It's just like Cleave that way -- sometimes you feel like a Cleaving nut, and sometimes you don't.

That could just be me, though. This is one situation where your interpretation is at least as good as mine, and quite likely to be more accurate to what the text actually says.
