Various Points

Hi all,

Thanks for the positive review, and the comments. Constructive criticism is always appreciated!

Couple of quick points:

Cumals are mentioned only occasionally in the comics, but were a standard currency used for deciding legal issues and buying property in early Irish law. I left the slavery issue fairly vague, so as to allow different GMs to decide for themselves how common it is, as it may not be to everyone's tastes and it's not made entirely clear how common it is in the comics anyway.

'Sláine' may well have been an old Irish woman's name, but it's also a male name for a king in the Book of Invasions as another poster pointed out -- along with Kings Gann, Genann, Sengann and Rudraige, who as readers of _Sláine: The Horned God_ will know are the other kings of Tir Nan Og in the comic.

I would have loved to include more scenario hooks and story ideas in the core game, but we really ran out of space. I already went around 30 pages over the target, which was why the book (and line) finished up in 9-point rather than 10-point. For various reasons concerned with the distribution process it's usually a bad idea to change the pagecount of a book after it's been announced.

However, the first supplement, _Tir Nan Og_, has around twenty different scenario hooks if I recall correctly -- and each of the Tribes books has another half-dozen or so. I'm also planning to write an introductory Sláine adventure for Mongoose's new magazine, _Signs and Portents_.

Again, thanks for all the kind words & I'm really glad people seem to like the game! This is what makes writing worthwhile.
