Though, if you've only got one die per character (Deadlands used multiple dice, as I recall), doesn't that mean you've essentially got only five possible ratings for any attribute?

I know, it's supposed to be a simple game, and you've got to sacrifice something to get that, but sounds to me they made the wrong choice...
