Good question Joe!

Issaries has an example of a satrapy two-page spread on its website:

http://www.glorantha.com/products/samples/1302_24-25.pdf

This should give you an idea of the level of detail they are achieving. It is playable but not all that deep. This is to be expected since there are so many satrapies covered in the book.

There isn't a publicly available sample of a Homeland spread, so here is a taste from Homeland Dara Happa:

The two-page spread begins with two paragraphs of general information of the following type - "Dara Happa is a proud, ancient civilization that dominates the banks of the mighty Oslir River. It contains many teeming cities ruled by powerful elite families, fed by the efforts of the Lodrili peasants who till the rolling wheat and maize fields along the Pelorian basin."

Dara Happan "leagues" are also described. These are groups of families who work together for political and economic power. Leagues are grouped into larger organizations called "associations".

Next comes the Dara Happan Homeland Keyword - a list of HeroQuest keywords (character abilities) that your character has if he is a Dara Happan. This includes the subsections of Look and Feel (a paragraph of descriptive text), Occupations Available (occupational deities are given later in the spread), Native Abilities (includes a weapon, and local geography, customs, and politics), Typical Personality (typical likes and dislikes), Typical Relationships (family, league, association, temple), Magic (lightly detailed later in the spread), and Common Names (like Anerash for men, or Amena for women).

The remainder of the spread is devoted to magic. The common religion (Sun worship) is described, and sample deities for each profession are given with HeroQuest "affinities" given:

"Merchant: Lokarnos the Wagon Master. The honest trader, who brings what is needed to Yelm's deserving people.
Affinities-Endurance, Gold, Trade."

In a full cult writeup, as will be found in ILH-3: the Dara Happans, would give sample "feats" (spells) for each magical "affinity". It would also contain myths and information about how the cult organization fits into Dara Happan society.

Eventually, finances allowing, Issaries will have an Imperial Lunar Handbook for each of the Homelands listed in this book (Lunars, Dara Happa, Carmania/Pelanda, Kostaddi, etc). Publishing the complete list will take many years, though. ILH-1 will be all we have for some regions for quite a while.
