Yeah, after being subject to the options of "I attack, I run, or I drink potion!", most gamers forget tactics that would work in real fights, just because the options were either disallowed completely in the games they're used to playing or else are so hard to pull of with little payoff that it doesn't make sense to use them.

SW is very much about the player making good choices tactically and thinking creatively to save the character's skin.
