there are precious few mad scientist games. steampounk is similar but not quite the same, dr who is also similar: key figure with a grasp on fringe science creates something which serves as catalyst for adventures in the multimegverse as his accomplices/friends/ colleagues/unearthly dughters are inexplicably and unavoidably drawn in.
