Jared's being provocative, but I'd put his point this way: Narrativism *is* the best route to take for playing Sorcerer. I'm pretty much committed to writing to people who share my interest in that mode of play, in the text of my games. They aren't doorways or even introductions for people who don't share that interest.

Perhaps I should clarify another thing - I'm not trying to convince you that your initial point is invalid. If you don't like the tone of the text, that's an OK thing by me. Your view is neither wrong nor does it have much effect on my outlook. So with any luck, our minds have at least met on the issue, and we can see where the other is coming from. That's about as far as the discussion can reasonably go, I think.
