I understand your feelings, but I do think that Eden's been a lot better about this with Buffy than other game companies have been with their own properties. It seems to me that with Buffy, Eden went the Chaosium route: Put as much as possible in the core book, then expand upon specific areas in supplements. So, I'm not that concerned about them reserving certain subjects for their associated supplements.
Now, if they had given only vampire stats in the main book and had reserved other creatures for future supplements, for example -- <u>that</u> would have annoyed me.
