I really, really like the original Star Wars trilogy (episodes IV-VI). I've watch them a lot of times each, and while I couldn't reply to a trivia question if my life depended on it ("what was the name of that robot with a red stripe on the head that was hiding in the background in scene 223 of A New Hope when...."), I know the characters, I know the plots, I know the quotes. I don't get tired of watching Obi-Wan and Vader fighting by the dock where the Millenium Falcon was held, or the AT-ATs stomping on the rebels on their way to destroy the generator at Hoth, or the speeder bike deadly race in the forest of Endor. I can recognize the puns and references in Kevin Smith's movies and all.

(I've also watched in the cinema Episodes I and II, which I didn't enjoy nearly as much, but that doesn't bother me. They are different movies, for different audiences.)

And, you know what? There's the fact that I haven't touched the expanded universe. I haven't read the novels or the comics. And I haven't played with the games (well, some of the oldies like X-Wing or Tie Fighter. And Rebel Assault as well, though my memories of that are fading quickly).

So, according to you, I'm not a big Star Wars fan.

Oh. Okay. I didn't know there was a certain amount of extra knowledge you have to have before earning the title. So I probably am a "small fan" or a "puny fan", or even a "fan as little as a jawa's circumcised penis", I dunno.

*shrugs*

Whatever. I can live with that; I'm not particularly interested in earning the "big fan" title. So I'll just avoid trivia contests, and in the meantime will keep watching the movies. Specially TESB.

"I love you."
"I know."

Awwww. The stuff dreams are made of. Mine anyway.
