Funny, perhaps. But true. Most Star Wars fans are fans of the movies, not of EU. Many SW fans are NOT fond of the EU stuff, especially considering with every new movie that comes out, more EU stuff gets invalidated. Which gives EU stuff about as much validity as fanfic.

Seeings how DS is not a SW setting, complaining about the fact that a relatively obscure novel used the title "Wraith Squadron" is not too remarkable. There is another (non-SW) novel that used the term "Dragonstar", is anyone complaining about that? No. Only someone who is into the book would care, and the SF field is too vast to worry that someone will give something the same name as you (unless it's trademarked.)
