Converted from Phorums BB System
Um, Leading Edge did a lot of their own conversions to their own system - Pheonix Command (Command Pheonix?) A little too intensive for me (10 seconds of a firefight took 30 minutes to play). And they deliberately changed weapon stats to stop players from working out the stats of their own favourite real-world weapons. It had quite a few supplements, though, military weapons (which came with the core book), civilian weapons, special weapons (flamethrowers), futuristic, extra damage tables, all the way up to tanks and artillery, I think. And don't forget the 'sister games': Living Steel, Terminator and Aliens.
And there's also Fire, Fusion and Steel for Traveller. That has firearms creation rules, similar to Guns, Guns, Guns!
I've never been particularly keen on any of the systems where firearms can play a big part, with the possible exceptions of 2300AD and Millennium's End. Maybe the only answer is to convert all the firearms to Riddle of Steel? THAT'LL be a new experience for the players!
