I've got Everway and I feel its character creation process to be highly pretentious. If you scratch beneath the surface (and with that immense box and all the gimmicky things you get with it) you have a medicore game with a pretext that's been done a lot better, elsewhere.

Jonathan Tweet's a good writer, but Everway is a helluva lot of style over substance.
