I think you're being a bit harsh on Stuart Townsend there, in my opinion he performed the best out of all the actors in the film, and pretty much stole the show as far as I was concerned.

But, I have to agree with you about Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. What? Did they think that Americans wouldn't know what a philosopher was? I wonder aloud why they didn't just call the film "Harry Potter and the Burger" Everybody knows what a burger is.
