Mediocre at best

I don't mind PS - it's just a mediocre game and setting, perfectly playable but not terribly compelling.
Setting is not as original as the reviewer will have you think. It's basically a rip-off of Skyrealms of Jorune but with D&D races - they're all there, they just have different names: haflings, dwarves (Andw'har), elves (Syl, and Troog), drow (Ebon Syl), orcs (Suvik), plus a few other unimaginative races like the Cat people (Myrlihk) and Horse people (Loshad).
Mechanic is decent, original in some places, but top-heavy in others. Too many skills that do the same thing, though the skills tree is well thought out and interesting.
Basically, the game is just ok.
One huge gripe though: the writing is simply attrocious. Trust me there is some really bad writing in this book.
A lot of bad stylisitic choices too. A section on religious beliefs is titled "Gimmie That Old Time Religion" (or something like that). Pretty much ruins the mood.
I would never recommend this game to anyone, but it's playable and has it's interesting bits.
