Yeah, the figures in the book are a bit out of proportion and the art is limited, but at least you have a good idea of what all the characters and monsters look like. That and it wasn't poorly recycled from somewhere else as in the FASA version.

Also the book cost about $10US when I bought it, and having a ton of photographs and high class art would have jacked the price of the book up considerably.

Of course all of this is moot for the PDF, as the art has been removed except for some basic diagrams.
