Without the book in front of me I can't be sure I'm remembering this correctly but the maximum distance for a PL10 character (i.e. a default starting level character) would be something like
50ft x 4 (sprint) x 1024 (Extended power stunt[1]) = c. 20000 ft or about 4 miles.
Right, that's not very far. I can think of at least two obvious fixes.
1. Use Dimensional Travel and define it as allowing transportation over a great range. This is what I'm using in my Elizabethan M&M game for our Dutch teleporter character.
2. Define a new power stunt (or extra if you feel it should cost that much) which increases the range beyond what the Extended power stunt provides. Perhaps call it Global Range and allow teleports in miles/kilometres instead of ft. This would allow a starting character a range of about 20,000 miles (say) and they would be able to reach anywhere on Earth. That's probably worth an Extra rather than a Power Stunt.

[1] Power stunts and Extras: A Power Stunt is cheap and modifies a power in a simple way. An Extra cost more and adds something new to a power or improves it in a substantial way.
