Your math is off; it's about 200,000 ft, not 20,000. A starting PL 10 character with Teleport 10 and Extended Teleport can teleport about 39 miles with an Extended Teleport.

I think a power stunt that doubles the range of the (long distance extended only, not move-equivalent combat) teleport every time you purchase it, like Lifting doubles lifting ability for Super-Strength, would be a good idea.
