In some RPGs, but not others. RQ, which you mention, gives STR equal weight with DEX when calculating modifiers for Agility skills, for example. Amber uses the Strength stat for all agility related skills.

Also, if all RPGs had to use the same terms and definitions as all other RPGs, there wouldn't be much point in writing a new RPG, would there?

The analysis of this aspect of the game you wrote did not addresss the issue of internal consistency. The analysis you performed in your head may have done, but the one you wrote and I read did not. Since we are discussing your review, I think that's the analysis that's up for discussion here. I am not a telepath.

Well I've already talked about RQ, but I can see now why you criticised the game. It is not internaly consistent. Nevertheless the fact remains you did not criticise it in the review on those grounds. You criticised it on grounds that I do not believe are fair or reasonable.
