Thanks for including the spoiler, too. I saw the book in the FLGS and thought about checking it out a few times, but didn't want to get a liscenced product of a license I never heard of, but the book was just so pretty!

And, I hate falling for this sort of crap. I hated the Princess Bride (the novel) when I found out it was all fiction, and I've hated other stories that pull the same trick. But now that I know the gag it seems a lot more fun to play along with it.

(In fact, if I picked up the book I'd be inclined to tell my players that I heard of SSZ for years, but never listened to the radio plays just to be mean.)

And all this time I had concluded that since part of the production crew for the show LEXX was German, this cult hit Spaceship Zero was obviously where they got many of their ideas.


Incidentally, I'm MORE likely to buy this now that I know what's going on. I just don't like RPGs derived from TV shows, even if I really dig the source material. M....
