Heh. Thanks, John. Just to be clear, I wasn't really debating the fact, just the way it's sometimes handled a bit heavy-handedly in the book. Even a set of quotes would look a bit like blatant self-marketing... There's nothing wrong with that, but if it *looks* too much like it, it tends to trigger and adverse reaction.

I think a sort of panel discussion format would be the easiest way to manage this. People like yourself could give their (say) top three tips for newcomers, some of them would naturally be about RPGNow, and it's sold. This is a poor way to present a long chain of information, so most of the book needs to be edited into a unified voice, but it might have made an interesting early chapter.
