I've never really been a big fan of slasher flicks until I saw Jason X and couldn't stop laughing. I loved every blood-soaked moment of it and is it just me or was that cyborg kinda hot?

Anyway, the only other Jason movie I've seen is Jason Goes to Hell (which I also liked, but not as much as X) so I know nothing about the mythos behind him.

Any Jason fans out there care to fill me in on details? Is the rest of the series campy too or is that just a recent phenomenon?
